LP Field is located in Nashville, Tennessee. It opened for business in August of 1999 after two years of construction. Although it is not the newest stadium in the NFL, LP Field has a lot to offer. Its modern conveniences have gone a long way in drawing large crowds for every event that takes place there. In fact, many feel that LP Field is among the best outdoor venues in the eastern half of the United States.
The Tennessee Titans of the NFL are the primary tenant of LP Field. They began playing their in 1999, and will be doing so for many more years to come. The Tennessee State University football team also uses LP Field for home games. Additionally, the NCAA Division I College Football Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl is also played at this stadium every year.
The seating capacity of LP Field is 68,798. This is not the largest seating capacity among NFL stadiums, but Titans fans make sure that opposing teams do not have an easy road to victory when playing at LP Field.
