Washington Redskins Information:
The Washington Redskins compete in the NFC East Division of the National Football League. The organization was founded in 1932, which makes it one of the older ones in the league. And unlike many other teams, the Redskins have always competed in the NFL.
The Redskins play their home games at FedExField. They moved into this venue in 1997 when it was known as Jack Kent Cooke Stadium. But no matter what you call this venue, it is safe to say that the Redskins will be sticking around for quite some time. Both the fans and players love the modern look and feel of the stadium. Not to mention the fact that it can really rock when the Redskins are playing good!
The Redskins are one of the most successful teams to ever compete in the NFL. They have won three Super Bowls; 1982, 1987, and 1991. Additionally, they have won twelve division championships and five conference championships.
Some of the best players to compete for the Redskins include: Sammy Baugh, Joe Theismann, Darrell Green, Larry Brown, John Riggins, Same Huff, Art Monk, and many more.
The Washington Redskins have been competing in the NFL for many years. They are one of the first teams to join the league, and this history has really done wonders for the organization.
