Indianapolis Colts Information:
The Indianapolis Colts compete in the AFC South Division of the National Football League. The franchise has been located in Indianapolis since 1984. Before that, they were stationed in Baltimore. The Colts organization was founded in 1953, and has always played in the NFL.
The Colts play their home games in the Lucas Oil Stadium. Despite opening in 1983, this venue is still one of the best in the league. Not only does it offer a great fan experience, but the RCA Dome also gives the Colts a great home field advantage each time that they play at home. The roof goes a long way in making sure that the noise is kept in, and that the offense can air the ball out time and time again.
The Colts have achieved a very high level of success over the years. They have won their conference six times and their division eleven times. Additionally, they won their first Super Bowl in 1970 and their second in 2006.
Many great players have suited up for the Colts over the years. Some of the most well known include Peyton Manning, Art Donovan, Johnny Unitas, Eric Dickerson, and Marshall Faulk.
The Indianapolis Colts have been one of the best teams in the league over the past few years. They are looking to build on their 2006 Super Bowl Championship, and it is safe to say that their fans are expecting the same.
