Cincinnati Bengals Information:
The Cincinnati Bengals compete in the AFC North Division of the National Football League. The team was founded in 1968, and began to compete in the NFL two years later in 1970. Although there are other teams older than the Bengals, this franchise has accomplished quite a bit over the time that they have been in the league.
The Bengals play their home games at Paul Brown Stadium. Since moving into this venue in 2000, the Bengals have really come to the front and center of the conference. Although they have yet to make a lot of noise in the playoffs, the team is on the rise and the new stadium has a lot to do with this.
The Bengals have never won the Super Bowl, but do have two conference championships to their name; these came in 1981 and 1988. Additionally, the Bengals won their division in 1970, 1973, 1981, 1988, 1990, and 2005.
As far as great players are concerned, the Bengals have had quite a few over the years. Some of the more popular names include Bob Johnson, Ken Riley, Ken Anderson, Boomer Esiason, and Anthony Munoz among many others.
The Cincinnati Bengals have been making plenty of noise in the NFL over the past few seasons. It is only a matter of time until they get back to the Super Bowl, and claim their first title.
